HAIR, Cathy A., age 67, of Davison, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 27, 2013 surrounded by her family. Per Cathy’s wishes, Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 7:00pm Friday, October 4, 2013 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc. Pastor Steve Abend, of Christ Lutheran Church, Birch Run will officiate. The family will receive friends at 5:00PM Friday until time of service at the funeral home.
Cathy was born September 21, 1946 in Flint, the daughter of the Harold and Margaret (Mottl) Hair. She had lived in the Flint and Davison area all her life.
Professionally, Cathy was a talented salesperson. She was employed by Flint Candy and Tobacco, Ferguson Ford, Metropolitan Life, and Northwest Tire, proving herself to be and expert in all industries.
Cathy was known for her dry sense of humor, which led to many friendships which she held fondly in her heart. She loved visiting Menominee in the Upper Peninsula, collecting lighthouses of Michigan and sitting on the beach in Tawas. She Cathy’s loyal companions were her cat, Molly and dog, Useless.
Cathy is survived by her sister, Brenda (Jerry) Mattis; niece and nephew, Tracy (Gary) Perakovic and Scott Harrison; great-nephews, Shaun (Sara) Perakovic and Aaron Perakovic; great-great-nephew and niece, Zachary and Zoe Perakovic; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant-sister, Sandra Hair. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Windsor Wing Nurse, certified nursing assistants at Grand Blanc Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility, and the Home Hospice & Advantage staff and volunteers.
