TODD, Donald E. – of Montrose, age 82, died Saturday, January 20, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11PM until 8PM and again on Wednesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Donald was born January 21, 1935 in Coleman, Michigan to the late Elmer and Violet (Zachariah) Todd. He attended Coleman Schools. Donald married Ellen VanArsdale in Flint, Michigan on May 7, 1955. She preceded him in death on January 14, 2000. Mr. Todd retired from Buick in 1985 with 33 years seniority and was a member of UAW Local #599. Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, gardening, and being outdoors. He especially loved spending time with his family.
Surviving are: Children: Dennis Todd, Debra Webster (David Michael), and Dawn (Sharon) Todd; Grandchildren: Roger Webster, Randy Webster, Sylvia (Eric) O’Connor, Wilda Todd, Sherry (Steve) Wixom, and Rusty (Scott) MacDonald; 18 great and great-great grandchildren; Brother, Leo Todd, and sister, Evelyn Kraatz.
