Dolph D. Fuller
Age 90 of New Lothrop passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Medilodge of Montrose.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday, August 8, 2015 at New Lothrop First United Methodist Church with Pastor Lee Sayer officiating. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Homes-New Lothrop Chapel on Friday August 7 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm with Masonic Service at 7pm.
Dolph was born May 18, 1925 at the family home in Hazelton Township, the son of Walter H. and Ina B. (Beattie) Fuller.
He was a 1943 graduate of New Lothrop High School and proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII. Dolph was a member of the Moose Lodge of New Lothrop, V.F.W. Post 659 of New Lothrop and a 32nd degree life member of the Masonic Lodge of New Lothrop.
He married Edna Dibble in Corunna on March 10, 1943; she predeceased him on November 23, 2014.
Dolph retired from General Motors after 34 years of being employed as a Service Supervisor.
He is survived by his daughter Judy (Tom) Lighthill; daughter-in-law Karen Fuller; grandchildren John (Robin) Fuller, Aaron (Jennifer) Lighthill, Ann (Paul) DeLano, Patrick (Stephanie) Fuller, Adrienne Griffith and Amy Fuller; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
Dolph was predeceased by his wife Edna; son John, great-granddaughter Katie, great-grandson Jackson, brothers Jimmy Fuller, Irwin Fuller and Jack Fuller and sister Hilda Fuller.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the New Lothrop First United Methodist Church or Heartland Hospice. |
