WHITE, Larry Duane – age 54 of Flint, MI passed away Sunday, October 2, 2016. A memorial visitation will take place on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at 12PM. A memorial service will be held Sunday, October, 9, 2016 at 1PM at Brown Funeral Home – 1480 E. Hill Rd. Grand Blanc, MI. William Downer officiating. Larry was born on August 29, 1962 in Flint, MI to Roger and Frances (Simpson) White. He graduated from Grand Blanc High School. Larry worked for General Motors for several years. He belonged to the Flint Bowman’s Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid sports fan, mainly rooting for U of M, the Detroit Tigers and Lions. Larry was a big teaser with a sensitive heart. He had an open door policy, was a selfless person, was extremely generous, and would go out of his way to help a person in need. Surviving are his mother, Frances White; life-long companion, Leann Haddix; children, Dan (Ryan) Haddix and Rick (Kathi) Haddix; grandchildren, Byron and Dayton; sisters, Janice and Brenda; and several nieces, nephews, family members, and many close friends.
