During his life, Maurice enjoyed traveling and golfing and loved being with family and friends. He especially loved a good game of cards. He was a huge fan of the Michigan Wolverines and the Detroit Tigers, and he loved going to his grandchildren's sporting events and activities. He was also a lifelong member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, where he led daily Word and Communion services.

Maurice is survived by his wife, Betty; his children, Nancy Ruddy, Annette (Joe) Simaz, Kevin Ruddy, Steve (Brenda) Ruddy, and Cathy Ruddy; his son-in- law, Kurt Linzey; his 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Rev.
