HARRIS, Shirley Lou – Of Grand Blanc, age 77, died peacefully on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at her residence. Burial in Wilber Township Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 1-7 p.m. at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Visitation Monday 1 p.m. and Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. March 19, 2012 at Wilber United Methodist Church, 3278 North Sherman Road, East Tawas, MI 48730, Pastor Brenda Klacking officiating. Shirley was born in Tawas City, Michigan on August 17, 1934, daughter of Raymond and Frances (Latham) Warner and was a resident of Grand Blanc. She dearly loved being with her family; enjoyed gardening and word puzzles. Shirley was employed many years in the convalescent care field. Surviving are children, Thomas, Sally (Tony) Lorenz, Mary Lou Peacock, Frances (Michael) Malone, Donald (Lanah) Harris, Vicki (Robert) Blogg; 14 grandchildren;
many great-grandchildren; brothers, Merlin, Cecil (Rose) and Lyle Warner; many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; parents; infant son, Timothy; brothers, Marvin and Donald Warner. Your condolences may be shared with the family at www.swartzfuneralhomeinc.com.
