ALLMAN, Kim Collier – Davison, age 65 passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 11, 2018. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 7 PM Friday, August 17, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Friday.
Kim was born in Seymour, IN on August 7, 1953. He graduated from Swartz Creek High School in 1971, where he was an active member of the Varsity Swim Team. Kim attended college in Alpena, MI, studying Aviation Technology. He was a devoted husband, father and brother. Kim was an avid swimmer, scuba diver, boater and camper. He loved to fly, and maintained his pilot’s license for many years. Kim was a truck driver for 43 years. He and his daughter worked together to achieve a black belt degree in Tang Soo Do.
Kim is survived by his wife, Robin; daughter, Jamie Lee; sister, Sherry Paul; many aunts, cousins and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Jr. and Maxine Allman; sister, Claudia Murphy. He will be remembered as a kind and patient man; steadfast in his devotion to family and friends.
