Lash II, Lyle Raymond Of Swartz Creek, age 63, died Sunday, November 29, 2015, at his home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Rossell Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Carman Cougar Charities Corporation.
Lyle was born in Flint, Michigan, on February 27, 1952, the son of Lyle and Delores (Simpson) Lash. He married Nancy Smith in Flushing, Michigan at Holy Cross Lutheran Church on August 29, 1976. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1976-1981. Lyle was a member of the Class of 1970 from Carman High School. Lyle was inducted, in 2013, into the CA Athletic Hall of Fame for the 1969 CHS Football team. He also was the Mid-Michigan Long Beard champion for 2013. Lyle enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, woodworking, crafts, and making stained glass. He would always help his friends with whatever they needed. Lyle enjoyed doing home improvements of all kinds. He loved his family dearly.
Lyle is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Kate (Ronald) Dodd, Lyle (Jessica) Lash III, Michael (Dana) Lash; grandchildren, Hannah, Samantha, Alexianna, Matthew, Reagan; sisters, Chris (Alton) Allen, Kathy (Richard Coad) Lincoln; brother, Larry Lash; aunt, Earline Rann; life long friends, Don and Steve (Connie) Fredicks and their entire family; cousins; nieces; and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lance; and nephew, Adam. |
