GIBSON, Homer George - Of Grand Blanc, age 69, died Sunday, August 16, 2015 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Ron Brooks officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Contributions may be made to Shriner’s Childrens Hospital.
Visitation 4-8pm Friday and 12 Noon Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home. A Masonic Service will be held 7pm Friday evening at the funeral home under the auspices of Grand Blanc Lodge #571 F.&A.M.
Homer was born in Glendale, California on January 17, 1946, the son of the late Homer and Gloria Gibson. He was a resident of the Flint area for the past 45 years. Homer was a member of the Grand Blanc Lodge #571 F.&A.M. and a member of the Oriental Band and also belonged to the Team Corvette Club.
Surviving are wife, Marcia;
son, George (Monika);
grandsons, John David, Thomas and Phillip;
brothers, Ron (Deborah) and Geney (Linda).
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Ann Gibson.
