GOSSETT, Grady Douglas, Sr. – Of Burton, age 83, died Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Genesee Care Center.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Craig Dockery officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Alzheimer’s Research.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9:30 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Grady was born in Alabama on March 30, 1934, the son of the late Arthur and Rosa Gossett.
He married Corinne Carris on June 4, 1960.
Mr. Gossett attended the Central Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving are daughter, Cindy and husband Emmett Moore;
3 granddaughters, Brenda Moore, Rachel Gossett and Debra (Grant) Coleman;
brother, Curtis of Port Austin;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Corinne, on March 3, 2008; son, Grady, Jr. and brothers, Earl Gossett and Pete Sims.
