DEO, Harold J. “Butch” - Of Vassar formerly of Flint, age 59, died Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
A memorial service will be held 3pm Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Cremation has taken place.
Contributions may be made to the family.
Visitation 11am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Harold was born in Pontiac, Michigan on May 3, 1956, the son of Harold and Helen (Black) Deo. On July 6, 1996, he married Michele Meinert in Mt. Vernon, Washington. Harold was employed by General Motors in Lake Orion Plant retiring in 1990. He was a member of UAW Local 5960.
Surviving are wife, Michele;
2 sons, Jerry Deo of Kentucky and Buddy Deo of Vassar, MI;
daughter, April and husband Jerry Dalrymple of Kingston;
grandchildren, Logan, Sammi, Amanda, Michael, Hayley, and Cameron;
sister, Wanda McKinney of Davison;
brother, Gordon Deo of Burton;
several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and his dogs, Holly and Wilbur.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Helen, sister Donna, and brother, Billy.
