SPROULE, Robert F. – of Davison, age 73, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at his residence. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM Friday, February 28, 2014 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison, Rev. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski celebrant. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. A Scripture Service will be held at 7 PM on Thursday. On Friday, there will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Robert was born in Flint, MI on November 21, 1940, the son of the late Harold and Mildred (Berger) Sproule, Sr. He married Mary Theisen on June 17, 1966. Robert retired from AC Spark Plug in 1996. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and Men’s Club. Robert loved his dogs, golfing, hunting, fishing and playing softball. He also enjoyed being at the cottage and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Above all things, he adored and loved his wife Mary.
Robert is survived by the love of his life, Mary; children, Robert Vance Sproule, Christina Mary (Michael) Crandall and Michael Theisen (Michelle) Sproule; grandchildren, Emma, Frank, Ellie, Jack and Ryan; brother, Harold (Marie) Sproule.
