MALIK, Louis - Of Grand Blanc, age 82, died Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 11am Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 2051 West Maple Avenue, Flint, MI 48507,
Pastor Mark E. Pretznow officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Contributions may be made to Lamb of God Lutheran Church or Shriners Children’s Hospital.
Visitation 12-3pm and 4-7pm Tuesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Visitation 10am Wednesday at church until the time of the service.
Louis was born in Owosso, Michigan on April 20, 1936, the son of the late Louis and LaVera (Wright) Malik. On May 25, 1957, he married Lois Ann Ruby at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Louis was a plumber and pipefitter known as “No Leak Lou”. He was employed with General Motors for 25 years, retiring in 1999. Louis was a member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and a devoted family man.
Surviving are wife, Lois;
children, Cindy (Brian) Aulph, Steven (Tracy) Malik, David (Jennifer) Malik, Paula (Duane) Ex;
11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Fred (Shirley) Malik and nephew, Gerald Malik.
