SWEET, Janet Marie (Husted) - Of Flint, age 70, died Monday, June 27, 2016 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Greg Rowan officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation 2-8pm Thursday and 11am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Janet was born in Owosso, Michigan on March 13, 1946,
She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Before retirement, Janet was employed by the Flint Board of Education.
Surviving are 2 children, Todd and wife Misti Husted of Flushing and Kimberly Greenen of Flint;
Grandchildren, Raymond, Alexandria, and Leo Husted and Zachary and Nicole Greenen;
Step-children, Gary and wife Debbie Husted, Dan and wife Shelly Husted, Cindy and husband Steve Schlaud, Tony and wife Margie Husted and their families;
Step-grandchildren, Kaleb, Makenzie, and Ashleigh Martin;
Sisters, Judy and husband Rick Fishbeck and Marilyn and husband Chuck West;
Brother, Jim and wife Nancy Hahn;
Several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Hahn, mother Gonilda Campbell, husbands, Ralph “Bud” Husted and William Sweet and step-son David Husted.
