Hill, Hazel L. of Flushing, age 90, died Friday, September 14, 2018, at Heartland-Fostrian Assisted Living. Visitation will be 11 a.m. at Rossell Funeral Home until the committal service at Flushing Cemetery at 1 p.m.
Hazel was born in Flushing, Michigan on February 29, 1928, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Harvey) Burke. She married Bill Wallace 1947 and he preceded her in death in 1964. She later married Gordon C. Hill in 1984 and he preceded her in death in 1990. Hazel was Past Noble Grand of Rebekah Lodge #509, Past President of the American Legion Auxiliary #342 and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary 64.
Hazel is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Grant, Sue and husband Martin Adams; grandchildren, Lisa (James Carpenter) Grant, Michael (Stacey) Adams; great-granddaughters, Mandalyn and Leah Adams; step-son, Brian Kelly; and brothers, George and Donald Burke. She was preceded in death by her sons, Gerald B. Wallace, Kelly D. Wallace; grandson, Robert T. Grant; son-in-law, Robert Grant; brother, James Burke; and sister, Florence Taylor.
