JACOBI, Curtis L. – of Montrose, age 72, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017 at his residence. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:30AM Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Community of Christ Church - 4041 Vienna Rd. in Clio.
Curtis was born December 21, 1944 in Flint, Michigan to the late Conrad and Gretchen (Clark) Jacobi. He lived in the Montrose area his entire life. Curtis married Sandra Thomas on December 28, 1992 at Community of Christ Church in Clio. Mr. Jacobi retired from Buick in June of 2001 with over 30 years seniority. He was also employed with Montrose Twp., and maintained Barber Park. Curtis was a member of Community of Christ Church. He enjoyed traveling and farming.
Surviving are: Wife, Sandra Jacobi of Montrose; Children: Shanda (Darren) Dean of Williamsburg, Jeff (Becky) Jacobi of Grand Rapids, Carla (Jeff) Miller of Birch Run, and Shellaine (Larry) Rogers of May, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; Brothers: Gale Jacobi and James (Susie) Jacobi; Several nieces and nephews. Curtis was preceded in death by his son, Richard Zobel and father and mother in law, Murel and Sybil Thomas.
