ALLINGER, Frank H., Sr. – Of Standish, formerly of Flint, age 69, died Sunday, October 1, 2017 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Joey Graves officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Frank was born in Flint, Michigan on January 20, 1948, the son of the late Herbert and Genevieve Allinger.
He was active with HAM Radio, driving bus, fixing tractors, roller skating, sailing, karaoke café and managed night clubs.
Surviving are son, Frank Allinger, Jr.;
daughter-in-law, Monica Allinger;
grandchildren, Alyssa Allinger, Jacob Allinger, Tyler and Alethia Ray, Kierra Arnold and Tony Arnold, Jr.;
great-grandchildren, Essiana Ray and Honesti Ray;
brothers, Brian (Vanessa), Mike (Karen) and Greg (Peggy) Allinger;
many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends, Tom and Art.
