CASTLE, RONALD J. - Of Grand Blanc, age 80, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024 at his residence.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Pete Scribner officiating.
Burial at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 12 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Ron was born in Flint, Michigan on November 18, 1943, the son of the late Jay and Harriett (Seeley) Castle. On September 14, 1963 he married Nancy Young in Grand Blanc. Ron had a passion for clothing. He owned and operated RJ Castle Clothing Company in downtown Flint. Ron loved hot rod cars and used to enjoy drag racing in his younger years. He was also a collector of music. Ron was a faithful member of Calvary Presbyterian Church in Flint.
Surviving are daughters, Michelle Goff and Carla Moore;
grandchildren, Mason Goff, Myles Goff and Marlyce Serges;
and cousin, Tom Castle of New York.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Castle in 2010.
