Strnad, Ann Marie of Flushing, age 73, died Thursday, October 31, 2024, at her home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Mayfair Bible Church. Pastor Angel Garcia will officiate. Cremation will follow the funeral services. Visitation will be 12-8 p.m. Tuesday at Rossell Funeral Home and 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church until the time of the service at 11 a.m. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Ann was born on March 8, 1951, the daughter of William and Aileen (Barnett) Tardy. Ann graduated from Michigan State University and was an avid Spartan fan. She later received her master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University. She worked for 34 years in the Flint Community Schools as an Educator and Title 1 Math Teacher. Ann was a member of the American Businesswomen’s Association and enjoyed going to conventions. She was a faithful and active member of Mayfair Bible Church. Ann enjoyed traveling and doing crafts. She was very social and loved meeting with her friends. Her greatest joy was her grandsons.
Ann is survived by her son, Matthew and wife Kimberly Strnad; grandsons, Christopher and Jonathan Strnad; siblings, Michael (Pamela Millender) Tardy, Stephen Tardy, Nancy (Warren) Parker; Godson, De’Arrion McGee; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and colleagues.
