EDMONDS, Robert S. – of Mt. Morris, age 59, died Friday, March 3, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, March 9, 2017 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Rev. Karen Williams officiating. Burial to follow in Thetford Cemetery. Family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 2-8 PM and on Thursday from 11 AM until time of services at 1 PM. Contributions may be made to the family.
Bob was born March 21, 1957 in Flint to Robert and Joyce (Mathews) Edmonds. He was a resident of Mt. Morris most of his life. He married Marie (Miniear) Dejean on March 19, 1991. Mr. Edmonds retired from Buick in 1998 and was a member of the UAW Local #599. He enjoyed riding his Goldwing, fishing, hunting, playing his guitar and was a former driver at local racetracks.
Surviving are: Wife, Marie; Son, Daniel Edmonds of Flint; Daughter, Jessica Edmonds of Cleveland, TX; Grandchildren: Dre’sean Edmonds, Devyn Burns and Jaylin Burns; Mother, Joyce Edmonds of Mt. Morris; Siblings: Luann (Pat) Horton of Lapeer, Jeff (Sandy) Edmonds of Clio, Julie (Dan) Eashoo of Mt. Morris; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by: his father, Robert Edmonds; brother, Scott Edmonds; and a nephew, Ryan Edmonds.
