FITZER, Wilma Irene - Age 86, of Fenton, formerly of Farmington Hills, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019. Funeral Services will be 3 PM Friday, December 13, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 SIlver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Thursday; and 1-3 PM Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to the A.S.P.C.A.
Wilma was born February 6, 1933 in Toivola, MI the daughter of Wilho and Hilma (Ketonen) Anttonen. She was married to Douglas Fitzer in Detroit on August 9, 1958. Wilma was a Secretary with Chrysler Corporation. She enjoyed bowling, bird watching, and the outdoors. Wilma absolutely loved pet cats and dogs.
Surviving are: children, Sherri Lynn Fitzer, Laurie Ann Stolnack, Douglas Lee (Michelle) Fitzer; and grandchildren, Kyle, Logan, Drake, Brooklyn and Brinlee.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Douglas Fitzer, Sr. in July of 2018; and brother, William Anttonen. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com |
