WALKER, Donald Edward - age 74, of Grand Blanc, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Visitation will take place Tuesday, August 26, 2014 from 11:00AM until 1:00PM and again from 2:00PM until 6:00PM at Hill Funeral Home 11723 S. Saginaw Street Grand Blanc, MI. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 6:00PM at the funeral home. Reverend Dr. Jay Gantz officiating. Donald was born in Flushing, MI to the late Floyd and Florine (Lamp) Walker. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He married Linda Oberley on August 26, 1983 in Burton. Donald loved hanging out with his friends, playing KENO, and adventurously trying new beers and spirits. He was a farmer at heart and had won many ribbons for raising Bantams. Donald was very loved and will be greatly missed by all whose lives he had touched. Surviving are his wife Linda Walker; sons, Victor(Karen) Walker, Matt(Suzanne) Walker; daughters, Terri (Thomas) McLaughlin, and Sherry (Thom) Hamilton; grandchildren, Kristen, Justin, Cortney, Kristina, John, Ricki (Don), Tyler, and Britani; great-grandchild Brayden; sister, Dorothy Walker; father-in-law, Raymond Oberley; several cousins, nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws, and sister-in-law. Donald was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bernard and Floyd Jr.; and his sister Shirley. The family would like to extend a special thanks to his very dear friend Savannah Loafman.
