CASCIANO, Kathleen June (Mellon) – of Flushing, age 88, died on Monday, September 2, 2019 at Hyde Park Memory Care in Flushing. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30AM Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at SS. Charles and Helena Catholic Church, 230 E. Vienna St., in Clio. Rev. Fr. Kenneth Coughlin officiating. Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Flint. The family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Monday from 12PM until 8PM, and at the church on Tuesday from 9:30AM until the time of Mass at 10:30AM. A Rosary will be prayed 7PM Monday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice House of Shiawassee County, in memory of Kathleen.
Kathleen was born on June 2, 1931 in Flint, Michigan, daughter of the late George A. and Ethel May (Curtis) Mellon. She lived in the Flint and Genesee County area her entire life. Kathleen was a member of SS. Charles and Helena Catholic Church in Clio. She enjoyed cooking and going out to eat. Kathleen loved her family deeply.
Surviving are: 2 sons: Daniel (Gail) Casciano, and Philip and (Eileen) Casciano; Grandchildren that were the joys of her life: Nick (Julie), Tony (Amanda), Brad (Fiancée Mary Beth), and only granddaughter, Angela (Matt) Snell; 6 great grandchildren: Jacob, Keyera, Austin, Dominic, Noah, Addison, great - great grandchildren, Antonio, Evelina, Elianna; Step grandchildren: Philip, Jennifer, and Julianne; Many nieces, nephews, and dear friends that will miss her.
