JOBE, Walter, Jr. – Of Swartz Creek, age 80, died Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Argentine Care Center.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Father Louis Ekka
officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation 11 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Walter was born in Flint, Michigan on July 25, 1936. He lived in Flint and moved to Swartz Creek in 1991.
Walter loved to play golf and bowl. He was a member of Grand Blanc Lions Club and was President in the 70’s.
Mr. Jobe worked at GM Metal Fab for over 30 years, retiring in 1991.
Surviving are granddaughter, Nicole;
sister, Barbara (Bradley) Dowdy;
brothers-in-law, Richard (Wanda) Rothley of Fenton and
Albert Rothley of Nevada;
sister-in-law, Verba Horton of Swartz Creek;
several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet, on April 6, 2011; son, Perry, in 2014; two sisters, Marlene Kubik and Karen Hall.
