OSTRANDER, Stella Grace- 4 months of age, of Fenton, was too perfect for this world and was called to be with her Lord on All Saints Day, Thursday November 1, 2018. Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday November 5, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Father Robert Copeland celebrant. Visitation will be held 4PM-9PM Sunday and 10AM until time of service Monday. Stella was born June 5, 2018, the daughter of Jason Alan and Stephanie Lynn Ostrander. Stella loved watching U of M football and was named the Wolverines most adorable cheerleader. She enjoyed sitting on the back deck while tree gazing, going on boat rides and she especially loved cuddling with her brothers and her puppies. Stella had a kinship of unicorns as her family and friends often referred to her as “Stella Unicorn”, being that she was one of a kind in this whole world. Stella impacted the lives of everyone she encountered from loved ones to each and every person who provided her medical care. The family is hopeful that the study of Stella’s illness will also have a positive impact for future children afflicted with the same condition. Surviving are: parents Jason and Stephanie Ostrander of Fenton; brothers, Joey, Billy and Philip; puppies, Mya and Lola; grandparents, Sharon Robinson of TN, Perry Dupuis of Lapeer, Tina Dupuis of Lapeer; God Parents, Mike and Karley Vaughn of Fenton. Stella is also survived by her Aunt, Jennifer and Pat Stambaugh of TN; uncle, Brad Hetzer of Caro; aunt, Jennifer Dupuis of Lapeer; uncle, Joshua and Erin Dupuis of Royal Oak and many great aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends, Rachelle Edmunds, Whitney Maley and Adrienne Harko. The family would like to extend a heart felt thank you to Hurley and Detroit Children's Hospitals doctors and nurses. They also would like to thank the St. John Catholic Church and families.
