McCARTY, Mark Allen -- Age 43, of Flint, died August 18, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be 1 PM Thursday, August 23 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Pastor Kevin Harbin officiating. Visitation will be 6-9 PM Wednesday, 11 AM until the time of the service Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions in lieu of flowers to the Valley Area Agency on Aging, 225 E. Fifth St. Suite 200, Flint, MI 48502 or American Diabetes Association. Mark was born October 7, 1968 in Flint. He was a 1986 graduate of Carman High School. He had worked for McDonald Dairy for 12 years. Mark was an avid U of M Football Fan and Detroit Red Wings fan. Surviving are: daughter Felecia McCarty; mother Wanda and husband Bill Puckett of Lennon; two brothers Tommy McCarty of Flint, Keith McCarty of Romeo; step-siblings, Andrew Puckett of St. Johns, Christina Puckett of Corunna, Lori Puckett of Traverse City; nephews Justin McCarty, Heath Puckett; niece Brandi Puckett; aunt Bonnie Primm; beloved cousin Anna and husband Norman Wise.
