ARMBRUSTER, Roy - Of Flint, age 90, died Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at his residence. Roy was born in Sebewaing, Michigan on June 4, 1925, the son of Herman and Melinda Armbruster. He married Clara Lammy on June 17, 1950 in Flint, Michigan. Roy worked as the control tower manager at Summerfield Chevrolet for 40 years, before retiring in 1991. He loved playing Euchre and enjoyed boating and fishing. Roy was predeceased by his wife, Clara and his parents. Surviving are two brothers, Morris Armbruster of Manistee and Ed (June) of Sebewaing; three nieces, Sue (Dave) Johnson of Manistee, MI, Barbara Armbruster of Birmingham, MI, and Jean (Jim) White of Memorial, CO; two nephews, Larry (Penny) Armbruster of Howell, MI and Phil (Michelle) Armbruster of Ypsilanti, MI. Visitation 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Private service will be held Saturday. Entombment at Flint Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, St. Paul Lutheran Church and Lutheran Layman's League.
