GABRIEL, Agnes – age 89, of Burton, MI¬¬¬, passed away Monday, January 20, 2020 at Ascension Genesys Hospital. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Friday, January 24, 2020 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Alan Duce officiating. Burial will follow the service in Gracelawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11 AM – 8 PM Wednesday and 11 AM – 8 PM Thursday. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Agnes was born September 10, 1930 in Standish, MI, daughter of the late Nickolas and Ava (Nieblos) Lieber. She married Jimmie Wayne Gabriel on June 18, 1955, and he preceded her in death November 17, 1980. Agnes loved reading, animals and most of all, her family. She retired from AC Spark Plug after 40 years. Agnes was a member of the AC Retiree lunch group.
Agnes is survived by children, Terry (Roxanne) Gabriel, Lori Gabriel and Roger (Kaylene) Gabriel; grandchildren, Jacob (Andrea) Gabriel, Jared (Alex) Gabriel and Jordan Gabriel; great-grandchildren, Khileigh Wheeler-Gabriel and Grayson Gabriel; siblings, Ann Bergquist and Jacob Lieber; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marsha Jean Gabriel; and many siblings.
