GORMLEY, Donna L. – of Attica, age 66, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, with family by her side. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Rev. Garrett Starr officiating. Burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 2PM until 8PM, and on Tuesday from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or to the family for future designation.
Donna was born November 5, 1957, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Donald and Hazel (Cummins) Witmer. She graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1975. Donna married the love of her life, Brian Gormley, on June 28, 1986. She was a faithful member of the Church of God. Donna enjoyed reading a good book, attending craft shows, camping and trips to the casino. She loved to travel – especially cruises with family and friends. Donna's life was a testament to love, kindness, and joy. She had a heart that radiated warmth and sweetness, and a genuine love for all children, especially her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends' children.
Surviving are: Husband, Brian Gormley; Stepdaughters: Neomi (Jason) Buchanan, and Brianne (Gary) Greenleaf; 5 grandchildren; Sisters: Esther (Larry) Dumond, Judy (Terry) Drouin, and Pamela (Charles) Jackson; Special friends, Dotty & Keith Nichols.
