LAVIGNE-BRADFORD (CHEMA), SALLY – Of Flint, age 80, passed on to a new life on Thursday, September 19, 2024.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, September 23, 2024 St. Mary Catholic Church, 11110 North Saginaw Street in Mt. Morris, Father Roy Horning officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery after the service.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Visitation 10 a.m. Monday at church until the time of the Mass.
Sally was born in Flint, Michigan on December 7, 1943, the daughter of the late Michael and Bonnie (Fearnley) Chema. She lived in Flint all of her life.
Sally graduated from Kearsley High School.
Sally married her high school sweetheart, Norman Arnold in 1962. Sally and Norman had two sons, Timothy and Roger Arnold.
Sally was employed at Buick City for many years before retiring. Sally attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church for 18 years and Davison Missionary Church.
Sally loved to dance, travel, tend to her flower gardens, read and be at all the family get togethers.
Sally was a devoted caregiver to her father and all three of her husbands, Norman, Blaine Lavigne and Jack Bradford.
Sally is survived by her granddaughters, Jennifer (Ben) Sutherland, Mindy (Ryan) Miekos and Bianca (Justin) Arnold and one grandson, Joshua Arnold;
6 great-grandchildren, Ryan, Jackson and Cole Miekos, Maxwell Hollifield, Octavia and Sven Proctor;
sisters, Betty (Ray) Sturgill and Sherry (Ron) Hayth;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Norman Arnold in 1983; Blaine Lavigne in 2000 and Jack Bradford in 2019; sons, Timothy and Roger Arnold; sister, Peggy Leach.
