NOWYORKAS, Linda “Mema” - Of Burton, age 70, left this Earth to be with her Lord in Heaven, Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Hurley Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Visitation 3-8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Linda was born in Flint on October 20, 1948, the daughter of Robert and Mae (Tucker-Penix) Holweg. Linda enjoyed crafting, camping, fishing, and hunting. She loved her grandchildren and her animals.
Surviving are devoted husband of 51 years, John;
And four loving children, Denise (Russell) Pierson, John (Amy) Nowyorkas Chad (Tammy) Nowyorkas and Tiffany (Bill) Nowyorkas;
10 grandchildren and many loving great-grandchildren;
father, Robert Holweg;
sister, Sis (Tommie) Holt;
brothers, Dewayne (Ann) Tucker, Robert Holweg and Rick (Debbie) Holweg.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mae and brother, Rodney Holweg.
