Floyd (Bud) Marion Rytlewski, a cherished husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on August 12th at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. Born on October 18, 1940, in Fishersville, Michigan, the son of Isidore and Verna (Latoski) Rytlewski. Floyd's life was a tapestry of hard work, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life.
Floyd married the love of his life, Eunice (Foster) Rytlewski, on November 7th, 1964. They spent 59 glorious years together loving and cherishing one another. They built a beautiful life together at their home in Vernon, MI. He served the community through his work at A&P and Farmer Jacks Grocery stores for over 40 years and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus.
His love for his flower gardens was evident to all who visited him; the vibrant blooms and meticulous care spoke of his patience and nurturing spirit. Floyd's creativity shone through in many ways. He prided himself on creating beautiful wreaths and holiday pieces, bird and butterfly houses, and the stones he collected and polished from Lake Michigan's shoreline.
A great sense of humor was one of Floyd's most endearing qualities. He was known as a good joker, always ready with a quip or a playful prank that would bring smiles to those around him. He loved telling stories, cracking himself up halfway through them causing the whole room to join in. His laughter was infectious, and his presence brought lightness to any gathering.
Floyd's love for the outdoors was a constant throughout his life. He relished being outside, whether it was tending to his gardens or simply sitting with a cup of his beloved coffee, watching the birds. Eagles, in particular, held a special place in his heart, and he could spend hours observing their majestic flights.
Those who knew Floyd will remember him as a loving and thoughtful man. His actions, whether big or small, were always done with care and consideration for others. He was a pillar of strength and support for his family, and his legacy of kindness and humor will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Floyd is survived by his loving daughters, Maurie (Dennis) Berry and Christine (Scott) Klco, who will miss him dearly. As well as his granddaughters, Brittany (Berry) Kokott, Megan Klco, Lindsey Klco, and Abbigail Klco. He also leaves behind his sisters, Pat (Rytlewski) Haley and Joan (Rytlewski) Cole, who will cherish the memories of their brother's warmth and laughter. Floyd was predeceased by his loving wife Eunice Rytlewski, his parents and siblings Dorothy, Ray, Eugene, Clarence, Leoma, and Bill.
