HICKS, Nancy L. – of Roscommon, age 86, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Genesys Health Park, Grand Blanc. A Funeral Service will be held 2 PM Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Morris Moos officiating. Burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 11AM until time of service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or the charity of your choice.
Nancy was born in Flint, MI on March 15, 1932, daughter of the late Robert and Lela (Shaw) Parr. She married Ramon Hicks on June 19, 1954, and he preceded her in death in 2013. Nancy worked for Chevrolet, retiring after many years of service and was a member of Union Local #598.
Nancy is survived by her brothers, James (Debbie) Parr and Dale (Marvalee) Parr. She was loved by many nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert, June, Zack, Betty, John, Peggy and Charles Parr.
