BRYANT, Geraldine Lucille "Jo" - Age 82, of Swartz Creek, died January 14, 2014 at her residence.

Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, January 18 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek, Fr. Dan Kogut celebrant. Interment in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be 1-9 PM Friday with a 7 PM Rosary at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Genesee County Humane Society.

Geraldine was born June 7, 1931 in Shepherd MI, the daughter of Dewey and Katherine (Corcoran) Torpey. She was married to Delmar "Bill" Bryant who has preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. She was an amazing cook and baker. Most importantly she cherished her family. Surviving are: 7 children, Patrick (Lynn) Bryant of Gaines, Trudy (Bob) Plumb of Swartz Creek, Nancy (Richard) Hart of West Branch, Jim (Sue) Bryant of Swartz Creek, Janice Bryant of Swartz Creek, Thomas Bryant (Mike Hurley) of Flint, Timothy Bryant (Jeff Laski) of West Bloomfield; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean Barrett, Patricia (William) Kelly; sisters-in-law, Esther Torpey and Hazel Torpey; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers, Billy, Leo, Donald, and Gary Torpey; sister, Eileen Faber; daughter Kathy Bryant, and friend and neighbor Marlene Campbell.
