BURGESS, Lila E. - Of Flint, age 95, died Saturday, February 27, 2016 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 2051 West Maple Avenue, Flint,
Pastor Paul Boerger officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Visitation 1-7pm Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Visitation 12pm Tuesday at church until the time of the service.
Lila was born in Dunham, Michigan on March 24, 1920, the daughter of the late Victor and Hilda (Harju) Kruutari. Lila was a Special Education Teacher.
Surviving are daughter Norma Neuhart of Flint;
sons, Dallas Burgess of Sacramento, CA and Lanny Burgess and wife Vicky of Macomb;
6 grandchildren, Susan (Brent) Schriber, Kelly (Greg) Giera, Keith Burgess (Jon McMaken), Lee Burgess, Juay (Tony) Nguyen and Jaran Burgess;
She was preceded in death by her husband Norman and grandson, Matthew Neuhart, Brothers Raymond Kruutari and Arno Kruutari, and Sisters Viola Willsey, Saima Kruutari and Agnes Kruutari;
