SHELDON, Anna- of Clio, age 81, died Friday, January 25, 2019, at her daughter’s residence, surrounded by loved ones. Anna was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on February 26, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Lou French.
Anna was a loving, devoted mother and grandmother, who was loved by all who knew her. She always put her family first and made sure that others needs were met. She loved family vacations and making memories with her loved ones. Anna was a teacher for years in the Clio Area Schools. Anna was passionate about the humane treatment of animals and contributed greatly to organizations that supported their well being.
Surviving are children, Paul Andrew, Paula Scott, and Blayne (Christina); grandchildren, Amanda Sheldon, Ethan (Kathleen) Scott, Jessica Sheldon, Seth Sheldon, Austin Scott, Noah Scott and Danyelle (Thomas) Stasiak: and brother Alfred (Elaine) French. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul and her brother, Robert French.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be scheduled for a later date.
Contributions may be made, in Anna’s honor, to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
