Smale (Messenger) Ethel Marie, age 94 passed away December 23, 2018 in Lapeer Michigan. Ethel was born April 4, 1924 in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of Raymond and Elsie Irish. Arrangements have been made by Dodds Dunanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland St. Flint MI 48503. A memorial service will be held 12 Noon, January 4, 2019 at the Lapeer Church of Christ 1680 N. Lapeer Rd. Lapeer, MI 48446. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 noon. David Powell officiating. She is survived by her children Larry(Brenda)Messenger, Beverly (Alex) Gadany, Sandra Delashmit, Daryl (Judy) Messenger, step children Nancy (Jim) MacDonald, Steven (Annie) Smale, 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren. Ethel is preceded in death by her husband David Smale, parents, brother Willis, twin sister Ester Myers, granddaughter Charleen DeLashmit, son in law William DeLashmit. |
