KINSEL, Elwood - Of Burton, age 94, died Friday, March 25, 2016 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery
Visitation 12-3pm and 5-8pm Friday, April 1, 2016 at the funeral home.
Elwood was born in Alpena, Michigan on June 29, 1921. Elwood served in the United States Army during World War II. He loved his Country and fought hard for our freedom and was proud to serve. Elwood was very involved in his church and loved his church family at Davison Meadows Baptist Church. Elwood was a very loving, devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Surviving are wife, Wilda;
Children, Sandra (Lawrence) Cramer, Vickie Kinsel, Deborah Lewis, Phillip Kinsel and Michelle (Luke) Richmond;
And 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by sons, Mitchell Wayne Kinsel in 2001 and David Richard Kinsel in 2003 and son-in-law, David William Lewis in 2014.
