Page, Mrs. Irene (Perkins) passed away October 30, 2015 at her residence. Funeral service will be held 11 am, Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 4805 N. Saginaw St. Flint. Family will receive visitors from 5-8 pm, Friday, Nov. 6 at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland St. Flint. Mrs. Page will lie in state at the church from 10 am until time of service Saturday. Pastor Henry Fuller officiating. Burial in Lovedale Cemetery. Mrs. Irene Page was born July 28, 1935 in College Station, Arkansas, the third oldest child of the late James and Berthola Perkins. She relocated to Flint, MI in 1953, where she was employed with General Motors until she retired. She was joined in marriage to Albert Strong and later to Stanley Page. Mrs. Page professed Christ at an early age and was a member of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Irene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved cooking for family and was devoted to her children, especially her grand and great grandchildren, and family and loved life to the fullest. Mrs. Irene Page leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Marsha Giddens of Franklin, TN, Brenda Strong of Flint and Samantha Page of Milwaukee, WI, son Stanley Page II of Flint, MI, sisters Eva and Ann Perkins of Flint, Doris King of Milwaukee, WI and Helen Perkins of Pine Bluff, AR, brothers Joe L. (Sherian) Perkins of Pine Bluff, AR, Lawrence and Jessie Perkins of Milwaukee, WI, sister-friend Lamerle Morgan, sister-in-law Geraldine Perkins, grandchildren Teon Mitchell, Michael Shepard, Paul "Matthew" Whitmore, Stanley Page III, Shanun Page, Kimona, Cameesha, and Tomeka Mitchell, Evelyn Strong-Bey, Rashawn and Larene Elliott, Mya and Mira Page and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives and special friends including Emma Deloney, Mary Evans and Lee Wille Hayman. Mrs. Page was preceded in death by her son Michael Strong Sr., grandson Michael Strong-Bey Jr., great granddaughter Leah Capitha, parents James and Berthola Perkins, husband Stanley Page, 4 brothers and 1 sister. The family would like to give special thanks to nurse Stacy from Hospice Advantage, McLaren Hospital, Pastor Fuller the Mt. Calvary Church family.
