Powell, Frederick "Rick" Age-64 passed away Monday, December 3, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 1pm Saturday, December 8, 2012 from the Believers Fellowship Church 2017 Clark Rd. Lapeer, Mi. Pastor Edward Gates officiating. Interment Meadowview Memorial Gardens 3136 N. State Rd. Davison, Mi. "Rick" will repose at the church after 12noon Saturday until time of services.
Rick ministered to a wide community through his church, his community service, his infectious joy, his music, and his healing presence on the web. Surviving are: wife, Myrtle Grace (Doty) Powell, of Davison; son, Micah Powell, of Chesterfield Township; daughter, Carolyn Morley; grandson, Morris Morley; granddaughter, Alicia Morley; great grandsons, Paxton and Mannix Morley, of Tennessee; mother, Donna Tapert, of Madison Heights; sister, Jane (Powell) Delgado, of New York City; brother-in-law, Alvin Thaler, of New York City; and niece, Elena (Delgado) Boyer, of New York City. |
