JOHNSON, Dr. Timmy D. – Of Flint, age 62, died Monday, May 13, 2019 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Cremation will take place following visitation.
Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Tim was born in Flint, Michigan on October 10, 1956, the son of the late William and Mollie (Matznick)Johnson.
On November 11, 2017 he married Janet Morgan.
He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
He taught classes at Baker College.
Mr. Johnson was a Deputy Sheriff for Genesee County and Burton Police Officer for 25 years.
Surviving are wife, Janet;
son, Timothy;
step-son, Scott (Amy) Riethmeier;
step-daughter, Amy Riethmeier;
2 grandsons, Liam and Caleb;
sister, Peggy (Don) Nawrocki;
brothers, Brian (Tami) and Craig;
nephews, Cody and Tyler;
several step-nieces and nephews.
