Ross, Carol – of Clio, age 89, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 27, 2024, at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 1PM, Sunday, November 3, 2024, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Cindy Dewar and Pastor Ben Erwin to officiate. Cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors on Saturday at the funeral home from 4PM until 8PM and on Sunday from noon until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Community of Christ Church in Clio.
Carol was born November 13, 1934, in Unionville, Michigan, to the late Franklin and Grace (McCallum) Gotham. Having married the love of her life, Harold Ross, on October 5, 1952, they embarked on a journey filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. Carol's passion for music led her to teach piano for over 50 years, touching the lives of many through her talent and dedication. Carol's creativity knew no bounds, whether she was sewing, cooking delicious meals, engrossed in a good book, or tending to her bountiful garden. Carol enjoyed attending her granddaughter's band concerts and great grandchildren’s sporting events. Her boundless love, kindness, and sense of humor endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Surviving are: Son, Paul (Zia) Ross; Grandchildren: Angela (Chris) Larner, and Shannon (James) Favreau; Great Grandchildren: Jeffrey, Casey, Emma, Jarrod, Alexis. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold Ross. |
