POISSON, Fernand – of Flint, age 76, passed away Monday, November 2, 2015 at his residence. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, G-5199 Richfield Rd., Flint; Rev Fr. Roy Horning Celebrant. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Friday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. A Scripture Service will take place 7 PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Fernand was born in Flint, MI on June 20, 1939, son of the late Emil and Imelda Poisson. He married Carol Kleinow on October 28, 1961. Fernand looked forward to deer hunting every year and enjoyed spending time outdoors in his yard and garden. He retired from General Motors as a maintenance superintendent.
Fernand is survived by his wife, Carol; two sons, Jeff (Kathy), Scott; granddaughter, Melissa (Brad) Weissgerber; great-grandchildren, Kailyn and Kenneth; sister, Therese (Cliff) Williams. Fernand is preceded in death by his brother, George Poisson; sister, Florence Reichhart.
