DARNELL, BUCK age 87, died Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Memorial Services honoring Bucks life will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the Halsey United Methodist Church, 10006 Halsey Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. Pastor Hal Phillips officiating. A private burial will be at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. Clarence was born May 6, 1927 in Shephard, MI to parents Neil and Tesse (Wardell) Darnell. He married Jean (Kersey) on December 5, 1946, in Flint and they had 8 children Buck retired from General Motors, Fisher Body I in 1982. He was a member of Halsey United Methodist Church. Buck loved his family. He ws a kind, gentle, and loving husband, father, grandfather, bother uncle and friend. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Jean; brothers Ron and Michael; sisters Gloria and Roberta; special aunt Alice Sisco; seven children Chris and Steve Hart, Mary and David Latimer, Dale and Diane Darnell, Lynne and Don Yost, Pat and Cheryl Darnell and Catherine Burns; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Robert and James; son Gerald and great-grandsons Ghase and Michael.
