Passed away on Sunday evening October 14, 2012 at St Mary’s of Michigan Hospital, Saginaw. The result of an automobile accident. Age 19 years. Jon was born on October 19, 1992 in Saginaw to Steven and Jaculyn (Bishop) Harris. He graduated from New Lothrop High School in 2011 and was currently attending Lake Superior State University. Jon loved music, especially singing and playing piano. Jon’s family and friends were very important to him. Jon enjoyed making people laugh and he lived life to the fullest.
Surviving is his mother and father; Jaculyn Harris and Steven Harris, his sister, Nicole Harris, his grandmother, Helen Bishop, many aunts, uncles cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Bishop and Willard and Vella Bee Harris, aunts, Cheryl Bishop and Tonia Harris
The funeral liturgy will be held on Friday October 19, 2012 at 11:00 am at St Michael Catholic Church, Maple Grove. Fr. T.J. Fleming will officiate with burial in St Michael Cemetery. Friends may call at the Walker-Martin Funeral Home, Chesaning on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Thursday from 11:00 am to 8:00 . then at church on Friday after 10:00 am.
