WELLS, Paul Edward - Of Fenton, age 85, passed Wednesday, May 23, 2018.
Visitation 2-8pm Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Monday evening at the funeral home. Visitation 10:30am Tuesday at church until the time of the Mass.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:30am Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, G-3139 Hogarth Avenue, Flint.

Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery with Navy Honors under the auspices of Chevrolet VFW Post #3087.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to “The Wounded Warrior Project.”
Paul was born in Flint on August 15, 1932, the son of Paul and Grace (Reynolds) Wells. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1951-1955, aboard the USS Wasp and the USS Kula Gulf. Paul received his Electricians training in the Navy. He married Mary Ann Jakowczyk on August 28, 1954 in Flint and she preceded him in death on February 4, 2004. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and after retirement volunteered on the St. Joseph Ministry Guild. He was also a member of Davison Knights of Columbus-4th Degree. Mr. Wells retired from Fisher Body #1 as General Supervisor of Skilled Trades after 35 years of service.
Surviving are daughters, Catherine (Bruce) Sprague and
Marlene (Mike) Radzik;
grandchildren, Kevin (Cassie) Sprague and Matthew (Gus) Sprague, Gabriela and Olivia Ralph;
great-grandchildren, Pippa and Bowie Sprague;
step-grandchildren, Beth (Bobby) Barta, Laura Radzik and fiance Jeff Koch, Mary (Mitch) Marion and Grace Radzik;
step-great-grandchildren, Robert Barta, Ella Barta and William Marion.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Ann, beloved son, Paul Edward Wells III, mother, Grace Wells, father, Paul Edward Wells Sr.
He was a very special man who will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
