KISCHNICK, Regina L. – of Clio, age 74, died Thursday, March 9, 2017 at McLaren of Flint. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, March 13, 2017 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 520 Butler St. in Clio. Pastor Erik Cloeter officiating. Private burial to follow in West Vienna Cemetery. Family will receive visitors at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Sunday from 2-5 PM and 6-8 PM and at the church on Monday from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM. Contributions in her memory may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church or the family.
Regina was born July 19, 1942 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Lowell and Louise Jones. She was a resident of the Clio area since 1969. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Kischnick on August 17, 1963. Mrs. Kischnick was employed at VG's for 16 years. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Regina enjoyed fishing, playing Euchre, gardening, listening to country music, singing karaoke, was an Elvis fan, and going to the casino.
Surviving are: Husband, Kenneth; Children: Julia (Dan) Embury of Gaines, Beverly (Doug) Mobley of Cadillac, Brian (Cindy) Kischnick of Flushing; Grandchildren: Cody Kischnick (Cori Ingram), Hunter Kischnick (Taylor Montague), River Kischnick (Mallory Werlinger), Brandon Mobley, Jac Rottiers, Bryan Embury, Beth Embury, Hope (Levi) Leveque; 5 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: Brothers: Freddy Jones, Bob Jones, Donald Jones; In-Laws: Edward and Suzanne Kischnick, Harvey and Betty Kischnick, Marion Kischnick, Arnold Kischnick and Roy Reif.
