McGEE, Rena J. – Of Davison, age 58, died Friday, March 11, 2011 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Cremation will take place following the service. Those desiring may make contributions to National Arbor Society or the Audubon Society. Visitation 11-2 and 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Rena was born in Flint, Michigan on August 22, 1952, the daughter of Arthur and Mary (Freeland) Redick. She was very involved with the Master Gardener Association at MSU. Rena was employed by GM in Lake Orion and was a member of UAW Local #5960. Surviving are daughter, Angela and husband James Colin Mackie-Smith of Maryland; mother, Mary Redick of Flint; two brothers, Roger and wife Alice Redick of Fenton,
Duane and wife Alberta Redick of Genesee; nieces and nephews.
