Age 86, of Clio, left this earth to join her husband, Donald, on Monday, May 27, 2019. Per Jean’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held, with Pastor Steve Turner officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society or the American Cancer Society.
She leaves behind her five children: Sherry Merkle, Terri and husband, Thomas Neuens, Toni and husband, Russ Bravender, Doni and husband Mike Butzin, and Matthew and wife, Cheryl McPherson; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Our wonderful mother and grandmother taught her children about grace, beauty, and spirituality. Jean was an amazing example for her children and those who knew her. She will be forever missed and remembered for the selfless love she gave to her family and for her devotion to her faith.
