Ruth Ida Titsworth, age 94, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. She was born on December 7, 1921 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario to parents Melvin R. and Laura J. (Cameron) Mosher. Ruth was a longtime member of Christ United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, and spending many winters in Florida with her husband and their friends playing golf. Ruth is survived by her children: Edwin (Shari) Worth, Robert (Diane) Titsworth, Mary (Andy) Sloan, Janet (Jeff) Smith, Donna (Gil) Crevier; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; siblings: Ross, Ernie, Rosella, and Esther. She was preceded in death by both parents; husband, Charles Titsworth; son, Timothy Titsworth; grandson, Brian Worth; and great granddaughter, Reagan Mae. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Christ United Methodist Church (4428 Columbine Ave., Burton). Visitation will be held from 4-7:30pm on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Hill Funeral Home (11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc), and again on Friday at church, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10am. Interment at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Christ United Methodist Church. |
